The Great North Wedding Show© has moved to a fantastic new venue for Autumn 2009 and will take place on Sunday 25th October 2009 with the Spring 2010 event taking place on Sunday 21st February.
The fabulous Hilton Newcastle Gateshead situated on the banks of the River Tyne, within a stones throw of the famous Tyne Bridge will host what has become the largest and best attended FREE Wedding Fayre in the area.
In the region of 60 stands from quality services throughout the North East and some famous name local and uk wide operators, such as House of Fraser, Moss Bros, Waitrose ,Thomas Cook as well as a host of regional wedding venues from across the North East. This event also presents an ideal and unique opportunity for couples to find out about some hidden gems for their wedding as well as see the excellent banqueting facilities of the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead itself.
With a catwalk fashion show featuring the latest designs for 2010 sure to
attract a lot of eager brides this is the one event you do not want to miss.
As usual we will be going all out to make this a huge success from here on in and is a must attend event for all North East wedding companies, Brides and their respective Grooms alike.
Please note, we anticipate this show being very popular with exhibitors in future and that demand will mean there are very few spaces available at future events, so this is an excellent opportunity to establish yourself at this very popular event at one of the regions premier wedding venues.
To encourage this even more, admission to Brides will be totally FREE and there is FREE parking for them and exhibitors too.
This is the first time in over 5 years that there has been a Wedding Show at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead. We have an exclusive 2 year agreement with Hilton who were impressed by references we had received about attendance, marketing and organisation of The Great North Wedding Show (c) when it was previously held at the Gosforth Park Marriott Hotel.
It is being promoted in glossy publications like "Hitched" the new glossy wedding magazine for the north east as well as many diverse areas such as popular wedding websites, like our own www.weddingpages.co.uk which receives thousands of visitors per month, email and text messaging to a huge database of Brides.
The magazines will also be distributed free via our network of exhibitors and to ten thousand Brides in the area, this highlights FREE admission for all visitors.
For exhibitors there will be complimentary refreshments on the day as usual.
All of the aforementioned combined is unheard of for a Wedding event
including a professional fashion show.

I have to say that I am full of admiration for the way in which the Great North Wedding & Home Show was organised by you and your staff. This show was smooth from the start to the finish. The flow of visitors was constant and business was brisk. To actually book four weddings at a show is unusual to say the least – but that was my pleasant experience. This show is a must for all wedding and home item exhibitors – especially as the level of organisation and marketing far exceeds anything elsewhere.
